About Journal

Water, Soil and Air Conservation Today, as a global challenge, it is of great importance in all countries of the world.  Our country, Iran, is no exception to this rule and faces problems such as air pollution, instability of soil quality, climate change, lack of water resources and also problems caused by lack of energy that directly and indirectly affect the mentioned resources.  Therefore, we decided to take an effective step to pay more attention to these valuable resources and also to provide new scientific solutions to improve their situation in the country by establishing the first specialized journal "Water, Soil and Air Protection" at the scientific-student level.  Undoubtedly, research activities can play a significant role in the growth and development of the country.  Accordingly, the University of Tehran, as the first university institution of higher education in Iran, has considered it its duty to fulfill part of its serious responsibility by gathering new and valuable scientific studies of the scientific community of the country.  The journal "Water, Soil and Air Protection" has been established by the Scientific-Student Association of Echo Hydrology, Department of New Energy and Environmental Engineering, University of Tehran.  Our approach is to publish the latest scientific achievements of students, professors and innovators in the country to protect the environment, pay attention to healthy air, management and improvement of water resources, development and protection of soil resources and management and development of energy resources, especially renewable energy.  The current research of this journal is based on the existing challenges in the country, which is based on the strategic plan of the Ministry of Science and the University of Tehran, based on scientific principles and criteria, and based on real needs and knowledge-based policy.  We hope that the results of the research of this publication can be useful in order to improve and protect the valuable resources of our country.
